Photo Welcome to the eighth Annual VUS TESOL Conference. Once again, VUS is honored to host the TESOL conference and to offer teachers an opportunity to network, share experiences, and to discover new teaching ideas. With the theme “Incorporating Technology in ELT – Why and How”, the conference will address different perspectives on why and how to apply technology in different forms to English teaching and learning. Why do teachers have to incorporate technology within language classes? How can we use technology to inspire our own teaching and creativity? Is automated scoring software consistent with current views on communicative competence? What are the current English language teaching practices in Vietnam and in the world? These and other interesting topics will be examined and discussed in this conference.
