Photographs of an installation art I did for a college exhibition. I created a room using 3 gallery boards and a couple of wood pallets. The theme was upcycled interiors. I designed the wallpaper, turned another wood pallet in to a coffee table and used old wooden crates as shelving for a couple of book sculptures. I upcycled two dining chairs found in a charity shop with batikd cushions, paint and whittled tree branches glued in to the back. I created a bottle cap lampshade by drilling holes in to the caps, spray painting them, threading wire through the holes and connecting them to an old lamp shade frame. I used a tree trunk as a plinth for my lamp.A cardboard sculpture of a wine bottle, wire sculpture of a tea cup and tea pot, and books decorate the table. Beneath the coffee table is a rag rug made from a towel and strips of old fabric. Photographs, paintings, books and sculptures displayed are all my own.
