Photos and information from UNHCR Lebanon Representative Ninette Kelley visited yesterday North Lebanon to see first-hand efforts to help refugees weather a relentless storm that hit Lebanon last week. In a mosque in the coastal city of Batroun, nearly 4,000 refugees lined up to receive mattresses and blankets with distributed by UNHCR and the Lebanese Red Cross in partnership with the mosque’s coordination committee.
