Phwaoooarr, what a day! Thank you to everybody who came down and made the day what it was, I hope you enjoyed yourselves! Our third year as the much larger Mega event and after lots of trials and errors over the last three I think I have a solid idea of where to go from here every year and make Megacon the best it can be. Ill be posting separate post for ideas and what not but next year should be action packed and smooth sailing! Official photographs of the stay will be up shortly, but they will be posted on the Waterstones Carlisle page, due to tagging issues with this page. So please tag your own photos with Waterstones Carlisle and #megacon so we can all see them! And Ill round up all the best ones and post a big album on here later in the week. I would like to throw a rather large lists of thank you shout outs to the following - Johnny, Shannon, Mark, Amy and Rex for their Cosplay judging. Emily @ Vue for all of her amazing standees and posters (the ones you all ran around like loonies for at the end of the day!) Scott Ferguson @ West Coast Gamers for his very generous contributions, the Yu-Gi-Oh Carlisle, West Coast Gamers and the Carlisle Gamers groups for help running our card tournaments, Graham Barke for his photography, Mike Edwards for his videography and of course everybody for coming in costumes and making the day so colourfun! I will have course missed people that deserve a thank you but please believe me when I say Im so knackered Im forgetting my own name at this point! Thank you one and all, see you next year! - Bryan
