Pianist Eliud Nevárez will be the featured performer at the TAMIU Guest Artist Recital Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public. A native of México, Nevárez has maintained a constant musical presence in México and the United States for more than 20 years. At the recital, he will interpret works by Scarlatti, Beethoven and Chopin. He is currently a music professor and concert pianist for the University of Coahuila.
