Pianist, Thierry Sandio, Bass guitarist, Petit Jean Obame, Saxophonist, Alain Oyono, and drummer, Marc Stephane Ndzana are the four from Cameroon who are accompanying Youssou Ndour’s band for the tour as the music icon returns to the stage with some of the best musical talents in the world. Youssou Ndour had put his musical career on hold and embarked on a political adventure that earned him the post of Minister after President Macky Sall was voted as President of Senegal. In a related development, a photo exhibition of Cameroon’s most renowned base guitarists is currently being organized at the Yaounde City Hall. Organised by Cameroonian bass guitarists of the diaspora, the exhibition is to pay tribute to talents in the instrument.
