seriously.... sometimes i see this lad perform and it makes me loose all faith in the australian music industry. this guys is a seasoned veteran, dedicated to his craft, an amazing singer songwriter with a back catalogue of amazing music, a wealth of other extremely talented musicians at his disposal, the aussie country boy look like Shannon Noll if he were cool and actually had talent, switched on and genuinely a good bloke. now.... what more do you need to achieve commercial success in this country? if i was cashed up i would market and promote this dude and make an absolute fortune i recon. if you are in the australian music industry and you cant make this man a star then you seriously need to quit and hand over your position to someone who gives a shit about australian music and musicians. there are so many aussie musicians like Dusty Lee Stephensen in various genres that, when compared to your pop star or classic hits, i would prefer to hear on my radio. dont just like this guys track, view it on youtube. email the commercial radio stations and ask them why Dusty and others like him are not on high rotation. damn, im grumpy this morning ;)
