Pichat - Your picture chatting app. Go Live!! .......... Soon After we finished our first internal beta-test version in late Jun, We started to discuss how to make our product go live and how to collect the real usage patterns. This part is pretty new to us. As you may know, all of our working experience are from big company . The marketing and UX team are responsible for those tasks in our former company. Now, we dont have those teams. Therefore, we need to do all the things by ourself. After discussed with team, the most important thing for us is to understant how people use our product. And find the product market fit as soon as possible. So, we start to distribute our test build to our families and use it everyday. We got good feedbacks from our families. The next step is to do the user testing on a small amount of poeple. And collect information to help us evlove our product. Therefore, we decided to pull in our go live schedule. For meeting this new schdule, we do following things 1. Cut several good features for this release. 2. Switch from our test server to our production server and test our app on it everyday. 3. Discuss what information we want to collect from users. 4. Design and Implement a simple landing page. 5. Coding, Debuging and Fixing critical issues. Coding, Debuging, Fixing critical issues .... like in the hell. Finally, we submitted our app to appstore on July/26. Congradulations to us. . . . . . Apple rejected our app after reviewed. lol Because they found an issue. But dont worry, its just a tiny tiny tiny issue. We will submit it again this weekend. And hope people can start to use our app by the end of next week. Good luck to us.
