Picked up Raven ...again...7th round trip to Madison. They drained 1/2 liter last night. They wanted to put a pleural port in him - we said no. Just think another surgery right now wouldnt be good for him - especially since they were saying it would be mostly for my convenience...and cost another 2K When we picked him up though they said he had a complication from the last tap - an air bubble in his chest. We are upset that they didnt call us - waited until we drove up there They tried again to sell us on the port. We brought him home. Hopefully he will rest & heal. It just seems like his system is very out of whack - had a large mass removed & his body is producing inflammation & fluid as a result. I hope we are doing the right thing. And that he will heal. Meanwhile miss Minne threw up this afternoon & again after dinner :-(
