Picket at The Fairways estate in Kilkenny this morning. It was a peaceful protest, a bit heated at times as Irish Water first tried to block all local residents going out to work or on a school run, but they soon realised they were going to take the blame for that. They called the guards, who when they arrived engaged in negotiations on behalf of both sides. Residents agreed to remove the picket once they felt theyd made their point. The word is getting out there - Dont Pay! Ignore the packs being sent out by Irish Water, build a boycott!
