Picking up shells off Orange Beach and dreaming of the day Kirie can be here to gather shells, too! Blue green waters and lavender cloud bank on the horizon. Boats, all kinds, going here and there---huge flock of big pelicans floating on the water waiting, waves faithfully calm, gulls wading the washed waves and combing the sand nonchalantly, squeals of children encountering the cool waters initially.....found a piece of nice driftwood with a shell with pink purple barnacles attached....alas, the shell was occupied with its snail like inhabitant.....ended up putting it back down on beach in water so it could live....thankful to be at Flossie and Jbos place down here. Good to be at beach with Bracken early in the am. Thank you, God, for the beach and your nature there!
