Picture Day - September 18th Start picking out your outfits now! The Kentucky Directors of Pupil Personnel (KDPP) is once again sponsoring High Attendance Day held through out the state on Wednesday, September 18th. The event is meant to encourage and stress the importance of school attendance. Attendance is directly correlated with the students’ opportunity to succeed, and this event is meant to foster positive attitudes about the importance of school. Schools through out the state of Kentucky will compete for the highest average student attendance. The categories of competition will include elementary, middle and high schools. Winning schools will be announced at the Kentucky Directors of Pupil Personnel Conference. Winning schools will receive a cash prize! Help Pikeville Elementary earn the first place and win the money. It’s easy…all you have to do is come to school!
