Pigeon Pose: ➡️ Now that all the eating is done and we are still in chill mode this drill that @alison_j_a will demonstrate, works wonders for your body. Combining strength, balance, mobility and concentration the Pigeon Pose is a perfect choice for todays drill. ➡️Start by lying on the floor, hands under shoulders, toes under your heels. ➡️Exhale pressing your body away from the floor into push-up position. Continue to drive your pelvis upwards to the sky, trying to push away from the ground with your arms while driving your chest to your knees (see drill #9). ➡️ Next, extend one leg up as high towards the sky as possible. Then let the leg bend at the knee. ➡️ Drive that same leg (with bent knee) under the body towards your arms and lower. Your hips to sit on the ground. ➡️ Finish by lifting your chest as high as possible, supporting your body weight with your arms. the key to this drill is maintaining a comfortable position during the stretch. Relax and allow your body to tell you how far to bend.
