Pimples ********** Take care of your skin Cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise. Cleanse your face daily with a mild facial wash, preferably neem, and water. Moisturise after cleansing your face. Exfoliate, once or twice,, a week, subject to your individual needs. Baking soda Mix baking soda and water. Dip a Q tip on the mixed paste and apply gently on the affected area. Wait for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Repeat twice daily, but not when there is skin irritation or excessive oiliness. Lemon juice Cut a lemon fruit in half. Rub the open side of the fruit on the surface of the acne. If there is a stinging sensation, dont worry — it is a sign it is working. Lemon has citric acid; it kills acne-causing bacteria. Only thing is make sure to rinse the lemon juice after. Apply sunscreen before going out — this is because citric acid can amplify the risk of sun damage. Raw potato Slice potatoes and place on top of the affected area of the face, or skin. Potato has anti-inflammatory properties — it helps in healing. Leave the potato slices for 5-10 minutes; rinse with normal water. Tea tree oil Tea tree oil is a good antibacterial agent. It eases acne spots, with no side-effects. Read label or instructions for its use. Aspirin Take two aspirin tablets; ground and mix them with water. Apply. Aspirin contains salicylic acid, which effectively fights bacteria that cause acne. It can also dry out acne. Alum A natural astringent and antiseptic, alum can work effectively for your acne. Apply alum on your pimples. Avoid overdoing it, because it can aggravate your acne. Apple cider vinegar Apple cider vinegar can destroy dead skin cells as well as clear acne. Less is more. Excess apple cider can harm the skin. Dilute apple cider with water before applying on your face. Wait for 10 minutes. Rinse with normal water. Toothpaste Toothpaste on your face? We are not kidding. Toothpaste contains silica. It helps to keep the moisture out. In effect, it extinguishes acne. Avoid toothpaste containing sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), which may be too harsh for your skin. Use the scrub two-three times a month. Eggs Spread egg white evenly on the face; it removes excess oil from the skin that causes acne. Use the yolk too; it can ease acne by preventing bacterial production and unclogging of pores. Apply the yolk on your face. Wait for about 15-20 minutes. Rinse. Use this facial mask once or twice a week. Garlic Crush two garlic cloves to squeeze the juice out. Apply on your face. Leave for 10 minutes. Wash; dont leave the garlic coat for more than 15-20 minutes, because it can cause a burning sensation. Mint Apply mint oil or juice on your face for 10 minutes. Rinse with normal water.
