Pinellas county schools palm scan children at the lunch line without parents consent. They waited for 2 weeks to let us parents know they were doing this. Why were we not informed at orientation or with the first round if paperwork that came home. My daughter was running late one day, stopped to grab breakfast at the cafeteria, and now her palm scan which is used for identification purposes is in the system. How can they do this without a parents consent. Much like the attempt to take DNA swabs in case your child is missing and they find a body. Im pissed.
