Planning Event: Courageous Sacred Conversations on Race Thursday, September 11, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church 2621 Utah, St. Louis, MO 63118 Congregations in St. Louis have long been divided by race. This August, we have also uncovered some of the divisions within many of our congregations. With our eyes now wide open, we might have the courage to engage each other in the harder conversations about race and racism we have postponed for too long. This evening of planning is intended for 2 representatives from interested congregations who will help to shape MCU’s strategy for Courageous Sacred Conversations on Race. Trained facilitators will bring a preliminary outline and some tools for participants to experience. Then, the group will shape plans to be presented more widely later in the month.
