Initial PlanningPrepare the initial scope and the phasing of the initial project budget in alignment with the project execution program. Liaise with Project team to prepare the Project overall Master Plan and produce the Budget Plan according to the provided Budget Estimate. Contractor ManagementReview the consultantcontractorâs execution plan and planning package incorporating a Progress Measurement System that will be used for monitoring progress supporting claims and validation of claimed progress of works. Monitor consultantcontractorâs performance and advise project manager of any schedule or interface issues that will affect the scheduled completion of the project. Audit and validate value of work done VOWD claimed by consultantcontractorâs and endorsing progress invoices for payment. Analyse valid consultantcontractorâs schedule delay claims to establish the contractually justified extension of time. Review contractor asset capitalization schedule to ensure it complies with contractual requirements. Monitor project closeout activities and provide planning inputs to project team in finalizing the closeout report and contract completion certificate. Change ManagementEvaluate as part of the change management process the schedule impact contained in the work change requests WCR and make a recommendation on acceptable time extension for client approval. Review the impact on the project budget of any changes to planned project schedule additional works or deletion of works and advise on potential major impacts. Scheduling interfacesAnalyse any scheduling interfaces with other projects to ensure minimization of clashes and potential delays. Tender CommiteeProvide relevant input to tender committee submissions and reviews final submission regarding contract claims variations or strategy changes for ongoing allocated contracts. Prepare the technical evaluation of contractorconsultants execution program resource levels planningreporting procedures and progress measurement methodology submitted in Contractors bid documents. Cost phasing profilesPrepare revised cost phasing profiles in line with actual and forecast project progress that will be used for the preparation of the clients following year annual capital budget. Risk AnalysisConduct what if risk analysis to anticipate unforeseen changes to the project and quantify potential impact and mitigation plans as required. Supervision of Subordinates Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner and within the required level of resourcing. Provide onthejob training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development. Continuous ImprovementContribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of  systems processes and practices taking into account âinternational leading practiceâ improvement of business processes cost reduction and productivity improvement.
