Planning to organize Thanjavur Rural Marathon, We have two tentative dates, 15th Dec, 2013 or 22 Dec, 2013 The run will be in rural villages near Thanjavur town. The route will take you through number of villages with lush green rice and coconut fields on both sides, along the river canal. It will be mix of road and trail running, with a true rural immersion. The event will also support Kids Run for School Children from villages. Please provide your opinion on dates, we will organize on one of these dates, when maximum participation is possible. Running distances will be, 21.1 km 10 km 5 km 3 km Kids Run for School Children from Villages Start time - 6 AM
