“Plant Manager / FMCG Supply Chain Background” – is requested for Immediate Hiring in CAIRO, EGYPT: Important Note: “FMCG Supply Chain” Background is a MUST (EGYPTIAN CANDIDATES ONLY). Job Purpose: Management of operations and supply chain (in-bound and out-bound) logistics, minimizing cost while ensuring lowest transit times and efficiency of transport. Maintain warehouse facility providing adequate storage facilities with ease of transportation to meet production and customer delivery needs. Responsible for the purchasing function, ensuring adequate and timely supply of materials. Managing customer order process to ensure accurate capturing of orders, follow-through until delivery and receipt of payment for goods. Important Note: The Candidate MUST HAVE A Food Manufacturing & “FMCG Supply Chain” Background. Job Duties: Management of logistics for production materials, parts and equipment and out-bound deliveries to customers and depots. Management of the warehousing facilities to store materials, parts, equipment and finished products. Management of purchasing to ensure adequate and timely receipt of materials to support the Manufacturing department. Department budget planning and monitoring. Responsible to identify and negotiate contracts with direct raw-material sources, managing the relationship. Management of the entire sales-order process from receipt of order from Commercial department, through to processing and delivery to customer. Responsible for the health and safety of all department staff during business activities. People management: responsible for the warehouse, customer service and logistics teams, including appropriate staffing levels, recruitment and development of individuals. Relationship management of suppliers and contractors. Warehouse & Logistics team; Customer Service team; Purchasing team; Customs Clearance GRO; Manufacturing Department; Sales Department; Finance Department; HR & Admin Department. Logistics services providers; Major Suppliers; Major Customers. Experience Needed: • Bachelors in Business Management / Science / Engineering • Additional certification in “Supply Chain Management”. • 10 years functional experience out of which 5 years should be in an equivalent Management level. • FMCG experience is a MUST. • Knowledge of foreign import/export regulations and procedures • Strong knowledge of the best practices and tools for Procurement • Integration of business processes and organizations around “the entire demand and supply chain” in servicing our customers and managing our inventories. • Delivering across SC KPIS targets and SC projects by building highly capable and motivated organization driven by core values. • Excellent English Language Skills.
