Planting the Seed Early: Childrens Workshops - Warwick How to create a childrens garden? The best way to do this is to have your children involved in the creative process and for them to have fun in the garden. Held in landscape designer Clint Kennys delightful garden with its romantic and unusual planting combinations the children will plant a herb or flower to take home - and hopefully start their own garden! The garden features formal and informal elements including an attractive chook pen sited among mixed plantings of fruit trees, vegetables and ornamentals as well as a charming treehouse nestled in a 100-year-old camphor laurel. This workshop will allow children to learn the basics of gardening in a fun and interactive environment. The event is suitable for children aged 4 to 8. Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 November 2013. 11am - 11.45am or 1pm - 1.45pm each day. 54 Locke St, Warwick, Queensland Tickets $20.00 per child includes a pair of gardening gloves, a recycled pot, potting mix & a seedling to take home. You can book online via our secure site here or phone 03 5424 8061 during business hours. :)
