Plants still grow in winter... Because I still grow in winter. :) Antonio despises cold weather. He is physically extremely sensitive to the cold... But, hes going to check everyday to make sure his plants are toasty and warm. Everyone should wake up excited about something. Antonio wakes up ready for school (he thrives on riding the bus and seeing his teacher). He loves his garden and greenhouse. He may hate the cold but he LOVES his plants, riding the bus, and going to school and not even the bitter freezing cold is going to slow him down! (He was out there checking on everything this morning... My favorite is him checking on the baby kadota fig tree. :) Thanks to the awesome folks at Backbone Valley Nursery, Inc. and the 4-T propane ... Antonios plants are staying warm and healthy due to the amazing automatic heater system they put in. :) It rocks! Side note: Antonios bay leaves are dried and ready.
