Playing my music is my therapy It takes me away from all the things I be It takes me to a place where I am safe It takes me so far away its like an open space I can do anything I want with a trill or a note I don’t have to explain, And there isn’t any doubts People cant touch me and there’s no one holding me down And in this world its like heaven there’s no such thing as frowns I can skip on my treble clef until it bends In this world the piano keys are my friends I don’t have a body I am just air but the air its so fresh and bare I don’t have to worry of what Ill leave behind Because this is my world and only mine I go above the notes to almost like a castle There is no work to do there isn’t any hassle Yes this is my world and it never gets dark or dims But now the song is over, and reality begins - Nimmi
