Playing "word snag" with a 6 year old. Our first argument - I grab "I" for ink. He grabs "E" for ink. Informs me I do not know how to spell that word and proceeds to teach me to sound out an "I". So I let him have "E" for ink, just to keep the game moving. a few plays later, our subject card is fruit. He grabs the "K" and hollers KANGAROO! I tell him no, that a kangaroo is not a fruit and he has to put it back. He then explains to me that after a kangaroo is dead that hunters make fruit out of them. I refused to let him have that point - he quit. LOL.
