Topics Discussed-Final Decisions by Committee Lechon Potluck-Food at Party Headcount at this point Night before set up Total funds to this date Resistration and Gift Exchange The Mayor of Salina Program of Events 1. The decision has been made to maintain the Filipino Tradition to have the Lechon. Our treasurer has decided to include this in our budget. 2. Everyone will bring a dish if possible. This is a potluck party. Please let me know what dish you are bringing to the party. If you can not bring a dish then please bring a store-purchased desert or soda. 3. Our main dishes will be Egg Rolls ,Fried Rice, Pancit. Chop Soy. So far , I have 11 People who are bringing a dish. Nancy Ferguson - Pancit Mylene Anderson - Spagette Gypsy Rose Nelson - Macaroni and Cheese Joy Tucker - Ham Mary Jane Conner - Shrimp Marycris Nounanlasy - Egg Rolls Helen McKee Morrila - Sticky Rice and Shrimp Roselyn Salonoy Morton - Chop Soy Jocelyn Elliott - Fried Rice Mary Ann Marine - Noodles Allyn Pechoro - dish 4. The headcount at this point is over 100 including children. The headcount could easily reach 200 when we include our out of town guests. We must have enough food and drinks. 5. We will decorate the night before the event. Mylene is in charge. Please help her with this. I will need help setting up all the tables. I will need a few men to help. We want the sound system set up also the night before the event. 6. Total Funds and Donations to this date is $860. If you have not made your contribution , please do so any time. 7. The Mayor of Salina is expected to attend the opening ceremony. Please attend and show the leader of Salina how Filipino-Americans are. 8. Resistration will be at the entrance door from 5:30 to 6:30. If you participate in the Gift Exchange , drop your gift at the resistration table. Payments will also be accepted at the door. 9. We will have a Master of Ceremony and a Program(printed) and we will introduce the Fil-Am officers. We have come this far by faith depending on God.
