Please PRAY! Peace Week (15-19 Sept) at Massey University is a great opportunity to establish common ground with students and faculty. The week is organised by the Chaplaincy Team and I lead this initiative. Please pray that we can present a few well developed talking points on campus, i.e. artistic installations, events, displays, etc.... • a pile of suitcases to illustrate how refugees have to leave nearly everything behind.... • a ball pit in which people can sit and talk, possibly addressing the issues written on the larger balls • a small prison/refugee camp people can attach a key to with a cable/zip tie and consider how they might be the key to freedom from unpeace for someone... Ill post some photos later, but for now Id like to ask for prayers. Paul says in 1 Cor that he sought common ground with all sorts of people so hed have an opportunity to share the Gospel with them. Thats what Im doing here. Ive a lot going on at the church too and a new intern has arrived..... so your prayers are especially appreciated. - Feel free to share this post to get more traction too.
