Please Share: On Friday, March 14 at 6:30 pm, NBCC Moncton ~ Wabanaki Center will hold a vigil to honour Loretta Saunders and raise awareness about Missing and Murdered Indigenous women. The center is proud to host this event as a show of respect and compassion toward the Indigenous women in New Brunswick First Nations Communities and across Canada. NBCC also holds Sisters in Spirit Vigils on October 4 at each of the six campus locations, an annual event since 2012. Donations will be accepted toward a bursary which will be presented to a self-identified Indigenous woman attending NBCC Moncton in September 2014. This bursary will be presented at the October 4th Sisters in Spirit Vigil. Everyone is welcome to attend on Friday. Special thank you to those who have graciously agreed to participate to make this evening meaningful. Thank you all for sharing the love.
