See previous release. On Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at 4 a.m., police responded to an assault in the King Street West and Peter Street area. It is reported that: - a 32-year-old man (victim) and his girlfriend were celebrating the womans birthday on King Street West - the suspect was in the company of another group celebrating the Tuesday, November 19, 2013, Brazil vs. Chile soccer match, at the Studio Event Theatre at 333 King Street West - both the suspect and victim were unknown to each other - while on the sidewalk, the girlfriend of the victim accidentally fell to the ground -the suspect believed the 32-year-old male victim had assaulted her, causing her to fall - this was not the case, however, the suspect violently confronted the victim, striking him and causing him to fall - the victim was then kicked in the head by the suspect - the victim was transported to hospital having suffered life-threatening injuries The suspect fled in the company of his acquaintances back to the Studio Event Theatre, then in an unknown vehicle. The suspect is described as Chilean or South American, 58-510, with a thin to medium build and spoke French. He was wearing a Letterman or Varsity jacket with a navy-blue body and white leather sleeves with MMXIII THE BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB on the back of the jacket in white letters. It is believed he may be from the Montreal area. Security video from the scene has been released.
