Please VOTE and help my team bring our startup, NeuroNostix, to life! I am participating in the NIHs #NeuroStartupChallenge with four other life sciences students. Our startup, NeuroNostix, will be leveraging intellectual property held by an NIH researcher to develop a highly-selective D2 receptor antagonist as a diagnostic and prognostic imaging tool in the management of schizophrenia. Combined with other in-licensed, selective radioligands, we hope to identify clinically relevant segments within the heterogeneous schizophrenia population to aid physicians in treatment decisions. We hope this approach will make the trial and error approach to drug therapy for schizophrenia a thing of the past.
