Please advise: I moved and I am currently renting out my house we are from a military town and the demographic is young couples most have a pit or mixed pit. I love my neighbors and both my neighbors have 2 year Olds and under. I refuse to rent to Amy large dogs. the backlash is so terrible that they are flagging my housing offered ads (the individuals that ask me if thier breed is allowed) The short term rental I am in now for the job i moved to to work at, I hear a dog snarl and growl everytime we enter our side of the duplex (anytime my child squeals) and since it is an old duplex with the same ventilation system and 2 adjoin doors into the landlady unit, I asked her what kind of Dog I is she never disclosed it before, her for year old son has opened the door before. It terrifies me when my son outs his hand on the door knob so we have a dead bolt now on there. When Im going jogging with the dog stroller I have to leave our units door open while I push bug stroller out onto steps, if she were to open the door and her dog run into my side while my son is in there and Im in front entry way (shared door) I cant fathom. Im in such fear. I never have seen the dog, I see his feces on our side of the duplex near our door, I hear him but not yet seen him. When I asked I was so scared to ask but I got the bravery to ask please view pics in comments and advise. Ive even put an ad up on craigslist for rental wanted and it was flagged by the nutters. I live in johnson city TN.
