Please allow for me to make a Declaration: There is an element of the black community that calls themselves Conscious/Afrocentric. This element has a deep poverty mentality of which many people would not want to be affiliated with them. I personally have spent tens of thousands of dollars on various lectures, books and conference in this element. I have also spent the same amount on Self Developmnet, Financial workshops, Marketing, Sales trainings, Networking events. I have seen this element would rather spend $20.00 to hear about a Conspiracy, aliens, reptilians, the illumanati or 1960s sloganeering, raised fist and chants in a little crowded room in the hood rather than go to a free workshop in a decent hotel or space so they could take care of their many children that some of them have with multiple women of which they have back child support on for being so broke. If you are a part of this group and can not multi-function, code switch, multi task and you keep listening to these speakers that cant do anything for you and they never will be able this is a wake up call for you to wake UP.
