Please avoid bidah (innovation) in Islam by saying Jummah Mubarak - TopicsExpress

Please avoid bidah (innovation) in Islam by saying Jummah Mubarak (may your friday be blessed)... All praises due to ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى). It is impermissible to greet one another for Friday by saying “May your Friday be blessed” (i.e. Jumu’ah Mubarakah) etc, since it comes under the heading of supplications (du’a) and remembrance (dhikr) for which one cannot exceed what is mentioned in Qur’an and Sunnah صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. Had it been something good, the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ and his Companions رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه would have done it before us? So, Anyone using such Innovations in the Religion either thinks that he knows about Islam and gaining blessings (reward) much more than Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ and his companions? OR its as if they cheated the Ummah by not conveying us this way of gaining blessings from ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى). Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said: He who Innovates (an act or practice in the religion) or gives protection to an innovator, there is a curse of ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) and that of His angels and that of the whole humanity upon him. ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) will not accept from him (as a recompense) any obligatory act or supererogatory act. [Sahih Muslim (Book #009, Hadith #3601] Is there any argument after mentioned obove hadith صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ? Hope this clears out all the doubts.
