Please can everyone have a read of the following as it is really important, thank you!! On Tuesday morning I had to give my Dunbar morning members the sad news that their meeting would be closing due to low numbers. Its awful for the members and horrible for me too. The good news is that, thanks to the influx of new members we had that day and the Royal Mackintosh Hotel, we have been granted a reprieve and the class WILL NOT be closing on Tuesday, but staying open, which is fantastic news. However, we need to make sure that it stays that way, which means coming along to your meetings regularly and shouting loud and proud how great your meeting is. This is for anyone, not just Dunbar, East Lothian, United Kingdom members - a lot of members think if they are a monthly pass member they are included in our attendance numbers, but you arent. You are only counted when you come to your meeting and sign in. So, I know we all have things going on like holidays, illness, appointments etc, but please get to your meeting if you can to make sure that it will be there when you want it. I assure you, I will do anything and everything to be there for you, help you on your journey and keep your meetings open, but you need to make sure you come along and be counted too (no matter what kind of week youve had!). I have such lovely groups and lovely members, so spread the word, tell everyone how great they are and lets show what we can achieve together. x P.S Dont panic, theres no plans to close any of my meetings, just wanted to get this message over to all of you!
