It is unfortunate for them that the use of this flag by bigoted murderers has made this a symbol of hate and murder much like the Nazi’s wide use of the swastika transformed a symbol that literally means “to be good” into a symbol that represents hate and genocide. I assert that it is not only our right but it is our duty to call this type of behavior out for what we see it to be. Others may see this differently, but I see it as a proud display of intolerance and hate. Regardless of a desire to tolerate different beliefs, a line must be drawn on behaviors with negative consequences.
