Please delete if this is NOT ok....I am currently new to the area and I am desperately seeking a local support group or possibly even a church group. I am not one that often goes to church, however I do have my FAITH and Im willing to try it.. Well lately I have been dealt some very bad cards and I feel that I am honestly having a hard time dealing with them. I have 4 Sons and I recently fled from a very abusive relationship 4 years ago! I thought I could sweep most of it under the rug and that time would heal all wounds, however as more time goes on, Ive noticed these demons continue to haunt me and even effect my current relationship. I went to therapy 2 years ago, and felt great. But now I just cant seem to NOT bring the demons of my past into my future! To make matters worse I recently have been diagnosed with a rare heart condition and been fighting an MS diagnosis. I just feel like Im constantly climbing an uphill battle! Im not looking for sympathy, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a support group or church that they could take me under their wing and guide me. My 4 sons need their Mom and they deserve me to be the BEST MOM that I can be!!....TIA
