Thanks everyone for the kind words after finding out I did not make it for QOC. NO LIE I WAS disappointed. Im all good now I tried and thats what matters. Everyone wants to know WHY? I really dont know.. because there is no real criteria presented to us, layout and even no real constructive criticism given AFTER the fact. SO even if i was to try next year... meh I will be too old anyway. I can tell you this much.. I was commended on how I handled my self in the interview I was one of the better speaking girls (I quote) BUT i believe compared to the other girls I fell in walking (I aint no model LOL) and my Talent, It is unusual, not the regular thing... I really wanted to make a difference with my talent I think a lot of women who are capable of representing Antigua are cast aside or dont even apply because of talent that doesnt fit under their umbrella of Antigua Queen of Carnival... I want to thank the Carnival Committee though, They have a very tedious Job of preparing the girls in ONLY 6 WEEKS! Its a SHOW so it MUST APPEAR GOOD! I wish them all the best of luck, Im sure they never had such a short time to prepare in the history of Carnival. They are a warm bunch though and they made EVERY GIRL feel comfortable before we presented ourselves to the judges, thank you guys for that..
