Please dont propagate this bull as Hinduism... Today we have the so called temples over toilets in Bay Area... Before, someone puts him/herself to attacking my Hinduism - DONT! ... Cuz, I am a true Hindu in its entirety, and its belief system, which even allows for blatant retaliation when needed :-) Hinduism was and is never about idol worships or temples, it was about a way of life - our way of life! ... But what we see here in the video is reverse science, using existing science to justify the preposterous rituals of Hinduism to benefit a few of the priesthood... Although, some of the things mentioned in there are factual true, but, resurrecting old temples in the name of Hinduism as if well find cosmic energy once we resurrect them is outrageous... Also, the premise that all temples constructed today (on the roads, in basements, barns and over toilets) are somehow sacred is a slap on all Hindus faces! So, listen to me when I say that the temples are being built on toilets!!! Hinduism is about about the Vedas and the Upanishads, not mere ornamental temples; the real temples were destroyed and a few original ones remain... That doesnt mean every tom-n-dick-n-Harrys temple is sacred... There are numerous temples being built with wealthy people as trustees to suck innocent people of their money! Put a stop to this!! God is within you, and you shall know him by self governance - that is true practice of Hinduism... Without the rituals mandated by priests or pouring tons on monies into the Hundies... These priests who erect temples in your backyard have nothing to do with Hinduism or the sacred things that are portrayed here in this video!!! ... Happening a lot in Bay Area and around the country in the US... Now I had to say it... Someone needed to :-) Btw, Im a Hindu and Im spiritualistic, just not ritualistic!!! Some Hindus are, and thats why these Trustees of temples built on ex-godowns, ex-gyms, and ex-farmhouses being built into sacred temples of Hinduism have to be put on check... But r we!?... Just not... I know a place where we used to have bathrooms in an old dilapidated building where we now have the garbha-guDi (the sanctum where we place the idol of the Lord), with a praana-pratisTaapana and all the paraphernalia... Need I say more!? Once again, like Gnadhiji said, Im a Hindu, and a Christian, and a Muslim, and a Jew, and do not want to defame peoples belief system, but cant help but voice my opinion to blurt out the truth when people are out to get the innocent devotees ... Cant see false Hinduism (much like the Hare-Krishna-Hare-Rama movement) that put a scar on Hinduism for monetary gains of a few opportunists at the cost of devotees and true practitioners of Hinduism!!! As my Hinduism preaches, I practice all forms of uniform humanitarianism and believe in Universal Bortherhood (vasudaika kuTumbam)... As the ancient Hindu verse goes sarVE janaa sukhinO bhava tu! (May all beings be happy, peaceful and prosperous)! I had to write this - just had to - in the interest of the preservation of all of Hinduism, and the humanity it preaches... :-) God bless us all !!!
