Please dont say Edo State politics is not your business because u live in London, New York, Los Angeles, Dublin or Manchester. It is our business because Diaspora community monies has made Benin City a financial hub of Nigeria, the city requires a smart financial guru to regulate the monies for the advantage of The City again, the Benin Diaspora settlers has to be represented in any Government at Osadebe road. Edo State is our home home, about 10,000 Benin families will be in Benin City this igue/Christmas festival, we all ve a property in the city but majority will be at Motel Benin Plaza and the new generational hotels in the ciyy because of insecurity, the security funds and the Governor that should have taken this season into consideration to ensure more police patrols on the street of Benin has been insensitive to the plight of Diaspora settlers, majority of Edo families would rather stay in Lagos and snick into Benin City and snick out. The writer was a victim. It is the birth right of every sons and daughters of Edoland to raise concerns about the credibility of candidates wishing to be a member of our exalted House of Assembly, the attached clip embarrassed all Edo sons and daughters worldwide; we all have a responsibility to prevent a repeat of this irresponsible drama. This is the time to vet and scrutinise constituency candidates. This appeal goes to every constituencies, dont send known killers and thugs to Edo House of Assembly.
