Please everyone, write or call your your state representative Louie Gomert (do not know if the spelling is correct) and the State of Texas Parks Department head person: Grant Leisure (??? spelling) and tell them how you feel. Our senior citizens should get in the parks free, we should be allowed to take our pets into the state parks and know they are safe and we should be able to trust our State of Texas that when we pay our hard earned money to be a part of the State Parks that we will be treated with respect and dignity. This is sad, it has upset our family. We had sick elderly people travel a long way to attend, we had many people from all over the United States there. Please write or call ASAP. Needless to say, we will not be having our family reunion at a Tx. State Park ever again. Thanks for reading/listening! Happy Labor Day everyone!
