Please excuse the long post but this is something that I feel passionate about, and have had personal experience of. I have just seen that someone wants Pepper Pig (a childrens cartoon) banned from TV as its a bad influence on his son. He stated that his son wanted to be a doctor but now says he wants to be a pig. Im not sure if this is a wind up BUT we must remember little minds are easily influenced by what they see on television. As a youngster I used to watch Finger Mouse, and yes I wanted to be a mouse. It was only when I reached my late teens/early 20s that I realised it was not the best career path for me. Apart from not fitting into any mouse holes, I also couldnt run fast enough to keep up with my adopted mouse family. Im glad to say Im now happy with the career path I chose and although I no longer desire to be a mouse, Im still partial to the odd bit of cheese.
