Please guys lets move forward, we know by now that most of the Battata Teachers dont want to change the name to what they dance and teach to something else than Bachata, so lets FOCUS un educate all the student about what Bachata is! This video is a fine example of AUTHENTIC BACHATA with a very clear basic structure, we have the basic steps including the syncopations used occasionally with the tap followed by a syncopated step in-between the Tap and the following step (it goes e.g. on the beats 4(tap), 1/2(sync) and 1(step) if one dance on 1), we also got the position change of the dancers what I call the Enchufla clearly at 1:14 and 1:27 notice its a inside turn NOT a outside turn, we got the Vuelta at 2:08 and 2:10 and please notice the turn is done on the spot (not moving sideways because in authentic Bachata we dont dance from side to side), we have the changes from close to open position and back again occasionally also very common, we also have the natural casual movement in the dance there: youtu.be/5n-DnPIWNNM Frank E, Bachata Teacher and Researcher
