Please help. Michael is in need of advice on how to deal with an insurance company claiming their client had limited liability coverage and is offering him a pittance which will not replace his car. He was behind the insured motorist on Stony Point Road, the insured fell asleep at the wheel; ran off the road; through a ditch; and took out a fence and a telephone pole. The pole came down, the wires snagged and destroyed Michaels 90s Camry. The Camry was well maintained and in excellent shape. To replace it will take 3 or 4 times what the insurer is offering. Michael is living on a meager Social Security check with which he manages to pay for a tiny room in a house and cover very basic necessities (such as food). Without transportation he is stuck. How do you fight an insurer that is balking to cover what they should?
