Please help support the construction of the new ball field in Oliver Springs. There has been a great deal of work on this project already but much more needs to completed. Dear Business Owner, One of the great things about living and doing business in a small town is the ability affect and influence the lives of those within your community. Thank you for choosing to live and do business in Oliver Springs. One of these opportunities to influence the lives of others is before you now. There is a great need to increase the space available for our children to play organized summer sports within our city. There are several projects ongoing that need your help. Several business owners ,sport organizations, DAV members, and the city of Oliver Springs have taken the lead in the construction of a new park area in front of the DAV building on Kingston Avenue. This park will be dedicated to the residents of Oliver Springs who have served in the armed forces. The park will contain a new ballfield as well as a picnic area and a small walking trail. We hope to raise enough funds to construct bathroom and concession facilities as well. In addition to this project there is also a soccer field being constructed on Kingston Avenue as well. This field will need the same facilities as well. Grants and other assistance are also actively being sought to help with these projects. We are asking each business owner in Oliver Springs to contribute to these projects in order to make this city a better place to live and do business. Your donation to this project will be recognized on the dedication plaque that will be a permanent fixture at the entrance to the park. Each business or individual who contributes at least $100 will have their name or business listed on the memorial. Those individuals or business owners who contribute $500 or more will have their name listed in a larger size and near the top of the listing of sponsors. We hope to raise $10000.00 from the business owners of this city to help ensure that our children have nice facilities to play and grow into productive citizens.
