Please join the DSA to show support for the signing of House Bill 214 into Law this Wednesday, May 7th at 4:30. This new law will require doctors giving a diagnosis of Down syndrome to provide the most up to date, medically fact based information to their patients. The DHSS will be required to provide the materials to doctors across the state. They will be required to report on the statistics as well as meet with the DSA annually to confirm their materials are the most current available. The bill has already passed both House & Senate, so the Governor will be signing it into law Wednesday in Legislative Hall in Dover.
