When my wife decided Concord would be the spot first her first boutique shop, many of our friends didnt understand. I am not sure we did. Yea I lived very close to there as I child but that doesnt make much of a difference. When we got the spot, and visited it, people were like this was right in the trail of the big tornado. You could tell. You can still see the line of destruction. I remember bringing volunteers out from my business that I was running back then but as we made this decision I didnt put it together. If you want to see a resilience of a community, just a good town of great people, swing into Concord. You dont have to be fake, you dont have to be someone your not. Most people, as humans, when tragedy hits have the same resilience, they come together and prosper. You will not find anything less in Concord and surroundings. My wife sent me this a few minutes ago...all I can say is I am damn proud to be a small part of this area.
