Please join us for Out Loud and Dinner and a Movie this week! More information on each is below. Out Loud Take a turn center stage or just come and enjoy an evening of poetry, stories and songs. Thursday, March 20 7-9:30 p.m. Cost: love offerings appreciated. Dinner and a Movie: The Way Join us for an inspirational evening as we feast on scrumptious food and friendship and watch The Way, the powerful story of an American doctor named Tom (played by Martin Sheen) who comes to France to deal with the tragic loss of his son and decides to embark on the historical pilgrimage El Camino (The Way of St. James) to honor his son’s desire to finish the journey. Through unexpected and oftentimes amusing experiences along The Way, Tom discovers the difference between “the life we live and the life we choose.” Bring a dish to pass (perhaps something with a Spanish flavor, since the pilgrimage is a journey on foot through Spain), and a willingness to have fun.
