The IRS has NEVER been anything better than a political weapon at the disposal of any political thug who happened to be corrupt enough to use them. And far too many of the employees, especially at the upper levels have always been much too willing to use their authority as a political weapon against people and groups against whom they have a personal "axe to grind". The IRS is such a thoroughly corrupt and unprincipled organization that it cannot and should not remain in existence. The IRS is a reflection of the people who write and benefit most from the byzantine labyrinth of the 70,000 + pages of the internal revenue code. A code which members of Congress and their scum-bag minions of staffers have deliberately constructed to frustrate and confound every taxpayer, and tax professional in the country. Damn the IRS, Damn the Internal Revenue Code, and Damn any member of Congress who refuses to recognize that it is absolutely imperative that the income-tax system be abolished, the IRS be disbanded and abolished, and the United States adopt a reasonable and fair system of taxation.
