Tomorrows event entitled, What Does Not Change/Is the Will to Change: The Vancouver Poetry Conference of 1963 will be given by David McCarthy, a PhD candidate at the University of East Anglia. The lecture will contextualise the Vancouver Poetry Conference amongst the dominant trends in American poetry of the period and consider its significance in the establishment of a counter-tradition of innovation that resisted Cold War ideologies.
