Please join us for the 8th annual Rosie Carollo Christmas Lights and Toy Drive Event at 3961 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sac, 95864 on Sunday, December 14th from 5pm to 9pm. On this evening you are invited to come and enjoy a beautiful and bright Christmas Lights display. Over 20,000 in lights bright as a matter of fact! Our display includes a full size nativity scene, flying reindeer, gingerbread village, six sixty foot decorated redwood trees, a magical Elf on the Shelf and much more! For this special night we will be handing out cookies and hot chocolate while taking donations of new and unwrapped toys for the children at Sutter Memorial Hospital. This toy drive is hosted in memory of our first daughter, Rosie, who passed away at the age of 21 months from a childhood form of epilepsy called Infantile Spasms. During Rosies 15 month fight against the constant seizures she spent a lot of time at Sutter Memorial Hospital and this is a way for us to keep Rosies memory alive and also help comfort the many babies and children who have to spend the holidays away from home and in the hospital. So bundle up the kids and come on by for some tasty hot chocolate and enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights. We also just got word that Santa himself will be stopping by from 5pm to 7pm to visit with the children. For those who would like to donate a toy, but are unable to attend the event we have a drop off box in the driveway the entire month of December. You can also mail your donations to the toy drive address. Gift cards to Toys R Us, Target, Wallmart, ect are also accepted and will be used to purchase gifts for the children. The hospital is in special need of the following items: infant rattles and crib toys, pillow pets, lego sets, color wonder packets, fuzzy posters, and fleece blankets. What else can you do to help? Please spread the word!!! Tell your family and friends about our special night! Together we can help brighten up the holiday season for the many brave children and babies at Sutter Memorial Hospital. For questions or more information please feel free to contact us at rosiestoydrive@yahoo or see our Facebook page Rosies Toy Drive. Become a friend and share it! Thank you so much for your support!
