Please join us on August 28th as we take a stand for justice at the Martin Luther King, Jr. statue in North Las Vegas. We will critically address the Mike Brown story, educate the community on the rights and powers of both citizens and law enforcement, and honor the Brown family and other victims during our sunset vigil ceremony. We are here for Mike Brown and countless other victims of police brutality per racial profiling from corrupt police officers. We appreciate support from all community members and do not turn a blind eye to other groups experiencing discrimination. We have a dual goal of establishing justice by a) uniting together and demanding accountability from law enforcement, and b) by educating our community about their rights. This event is not politically affiliated, not anti-police and not only for the African American community. This event is a peaceful and educational non-partisan event organized to increase awareness of the meaning of justice for all humans.
