Please lets not turn our backs on local farmers. They are perched precariously at the precipice of the Murkin dream machine. And, we are failing them. Civic groups? Houses of Worship? Any solutions out there? What, if anything, can we do for them, humanely, that they may prosper --- or, at least break even? I remember a time when hard work was part of a thing called integrity. Are we to rob these hardworking folks of that, too? (cause, they dont have much in other respects...) Lets please add this to the agenda of discourse, that they may experience the pride of earning a decent buck.
